1. About Ironclaw
Ironclaw is a privately operated, Norway-based community project for The Isle: Evrima. These Terms govern the Ironclaw game server, website, management and storage services, Ironclaw Companion, voice service, Discord application, and related features (together, the “Services”).
Ironclaw is an independent community project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by The Isle's developers, Valve, Steam, Discord, or their respective affiliates. Their names and trademarks belong to their owners.
2. Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and the published Ironclaw server rules. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. You must meet the minimum age and account requirements imposed by applicable law, Steam, Discord, and the game. A parent or guardian must approve use where local law requires it.
3. Accounts and identity linking
Some features require a Steam-linked Ironclaw account. Discord and Companion features may link their own identifiers to that same account. You may only link accounts you control. You are responsible for protecting your Steam, Discord, Companion, and device credentials and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.
Do not share login links, one-time codes, tokens, certificates, or private identity files. Ironclaw staff will not ask for your Steam or Discord password.
4. Acceptable use
You must not cheat; exploit bugs; evade bans or restrictions; impersonate others; harass players; interfere with the server or another user; automate abusive requests; probe or attack infrastructure; distribute malware; obtain data without authorization; or use the Services unlawfully. Commands and APIs may only be used for their intended purpose.
Attempts to duplicate dinosaurs, rewards, skins, credits, storage items, or entitlements may result in correction of the data and suspension or removal from the Services.
5. Storage, rewards, skins, and virtual items
Dinosaur storage, restoration, rewards, skins, credits, templates, and similar items are server-side features with no cash value unless expressly stated otherwise. They are personal, non-transferable, and may be corrected or removed when duplicated, corrupted, obtained through abuse, or technically incompatible.
Game updates and modifications can change saved-state formats or make a dinosaur, mutation, skin, or template unsafe to restore. Ironclaw uses safeguards and backups where practical, but does not guarantee that every stored state can always be restored without loss. Do not treat the Services as permanent archival storage.
If paid products are introduced, their price, delivery terms, refund rights, and any mandatory consumer information will be presented separately before purchase. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer rights.
6. Companion, maps, and voice
Ironclaw Companion may display approximate game position, maps, friends, Prime progress, storage, rewards, and voice controls. Position, heading, species, and status information may be delayed or inaccurate. Do not rely on it for personal safety or any purpose outside the game.
Voice communication is user-generated and may expose you to speech from other players. Follow the server rules and use available mute, privacy, and reporting controls. Do not record or redistribute another person's voice unlawfully.
Companion builds may be unsigned and may produce operating-system download or reputation warnings. Obtain installers only from ironclaw.no.
7. Discord application
The Ironclaw Discord application may provide account linking, private account information, server status, rewards, notifications, and administrative tools. Your use of Discord remains subject to Discord's own terms and policies. Private account results should not be reposted where doing so would expose another person.
8. Moderation and enforcement
Ironclaw may investigate suspected abuse, correct game or account data, restrict commands, mute, suspend, or ban users when reasonably necessary to protect players, enforce server rules, secure the Services, or comply with law. Serious or repeated abuse may result in permanent removal. Where practical, contact an Ironclaw administrator if you believe an action was mistaken.
9. Availability and changes
The Services are experimental community services and may be changed, restarted, interrupted, or discontinued. Maintenance, game updates, upstream outages, security incidents, and technical failures may affect availability. Features labelled testing, planned, or experimental may behave unexpectedly.
10. Intellectual property and user content
Ironclaw retains rights in its original code, branding, documentation, and service design. Game assets, maps, names, and third-party components remain subject to their owners' rights and licences.
You retain rights in content you submit. You grant Ironclaw a limited, non-exclusive permission to process and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, moderate, and improve the Services.
11. Disclaimers and liability
The Services are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Ironclaw does not warrant uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, compatibility with every game update, or permanent preservation of game data.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ironclaw is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost gameplay progress, loss of virtual items, or failures caused by the game, Steam, Discord, network providers, hosting providers, user devices, or unauthorized third parties. These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections or liability for intentional or grossly negligent conduct.
12. Ending use
You may stop using the Services and request deletion of eligible account data. Some records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, enforcement, backups, or legal obligations, as described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law, without limiting any mandatory rights you have under the law of your country of residence. Disputes should first be raised with an Ironclaw administrator so a practical resolution can be attempted.
14. Changes and contact
These Terms may be updated as the Services develop. Material changes will be announced through the website or official Ironclaw community channels, and the effective date will be updated.
